"IS HELL REAL?"

(Revised this Gospel Tract 09/01/2025 to show Scripture Verses in three different Bible Translations.)

SO, DID JESUS CHRIST BELIEVE IN A PLACE CALLED HELL?

He most certainly did! – As a matter of truth, in Luke 16:19-31 Jesus gives a very detailed description of a ‘rich man’ being in the torments of Hell. This passage of Scripture is NOT a ‘parable’ because Jesus never used the names of persons in His parables. In this passage He uses the names Lazarus and Abraham so He is telling us about a true incident. –

In Luke 16:22-24, we read…

"At nangyari, na namatay ang pulubi at siya'y dinala ng mga anghel sa sinapupunan ni Abraham: at namatay naman ang mayaman, at inilibing. At sa Hades [Hell} na nasa mga pagdurusa ay itiningin niya ang kaniyang mga mata, at natanaw sa malayo si Abraham, at si Lazaro ay nasa kaniyang sinapupunan. At siya'y sumigaw at sinabi, Amang Abraham, maawa ka sa akin, at suguin mo si Lazaro, upang itubog niya sa tubig ang dulo ng kaniyang daliri, at palamigin ang aking dila; sapagka't naghihirap ako sa alab na ito.” (Tagalog Ang Biblia)

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (King James Version)

Hell is NOT a place you want to end up in for eternity! -- Hell is a place of unquenchable fire that will burn EVERY DAY for all of eternity and it causes an unsaved sinner to feel horrible pain and suffering. It is a place where the torment is so bad that there is “grinding of the teeth” from the pain one suffers (Matthew 25:30).

Hell is a place where there is “no rest day or night” (Revelation 14:11). It is a place where there is “weeping” of the inhabitants (probably from regret for not having accepted Christ as Savior) .

In Romans 3:23, the Bible tells us that we have all sinned against God!

SO, HOW CAN YOU BE SAVED FROM HELL?

In 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, the Bible tells us that Jesus died for our sins, was buried in a tomb; and the third day He arose again to new life. –

So where is Jesus now? - Well, the Bible tells us that He sits at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven awaiting His Father’s command to judge the world. The righteous will be saved…the unsaved will be sent to Hell.

In 1 John 1:7b, we read...

”at nililinis tayo ng dugo ni Jesus na kaniyang Anak sa lahat ng kasalanan.” (Tagalog Ang Biblia)

"and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (King James Version)

"And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible)

YES …THE ‘GOOD NEWS’ IS THAT ALL OF YOUR SINS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CLEANSED FOREVER BY THE BLOOD SACRIFICE THAT JESUS CHRIST MADE ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS! - - - DO YOU BELIEVE THAT TRUTH?

Jesus Himself tells us in Mark 1:15 that two things are required in order for a person to enter into the Kingdom of God (Heaven). -- The person needs to “REPENT and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL” –

To “Repent” means to have a “change of mind and heart” that results in a “change of action, or behavior”.

To “Believe the Gospel” means that you now BY FAITH believe that Jesus Christ has ALREADY DONE on the Cross everything that is required to save your soul from your sins and from Hell forever! –

To “Believe the Gospel” means that you now believe that it is not necessary for you to "perform **religious works through any church" in an effort to "earn sin indulgences for Purgatory" because Purgatory doesn’t even exist!—Purgatory is never once mentioned in the New Testament of the Bible by Jesus – He only mentions two ways for the spirit and soul to go after death... Heaven** (narrow way) and Hell (broad way) – Matthew 7:13-14.

Now, if you truly believe that Jesus Christ has already done everything necessary on the Cross to save you from your sins and Hell, why not get sincere with God right now and pray to Him.

I have inserted below a sample prayer of “Repentance and Belief” that may be prayed to God with a sincere heart.

PLEASE KNOW THAT YOUR JUST RECITING THE PRAYER BELOW CAN NOT SAVE YOUR SOUL! –- ONLY IF YOU BELIEVE THE TRUTHS THAT I’VE SHARED WITH YOU IN THIS GOSPEL TRACT IN YOUR HEART WHILE YOU PRAY THE PRAYER CAN YOUR SOUL BE SAVED, AND SUPERNATUALLY RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR BODY FOR ALL ETERNITY. (YOUR SUPERNATURALLY RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT OF CHRIST INTO YOUR BODY IS ALSO KNOWN AS BECOMING "SPIRITUALLY BORN AGAIN".) -- JESUS SAID IN JOHN 3:3 ... THAT UNLESS WE BECOME "SPIRITUALLY BORN AGAIN" THAT WE WILL NEVER SEE HEAVEN!

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner! – Please forgive me for all my past sins. – I believe that you shed your blood on the Cross to cleanse me of ALL my sins and to save my soul from Hell forever. – Please send your Holy Spirit into my life right now and help me to live the rest of my life for you. - I truly believe I am now forgiven for my sins and saved from Hell. …Thank you, Lord Jesus!
